The Pacific Northwest Mastiff Fanciers (PNMF), was organized in 1986 by just a handful of mastiff lovers. Their main goal was to come together for the betterment of the breed and to serve as an educational connection for those in search of information about the English Mastiff. Although the club has grown, the goals have remained the same. The PNMF has sponsored three National (MCOA) Specialties (1988, 1994 & 2002). The club supports an entry of mastiffs at a yearly show and has had an annual Fun Match since 1986. The PNMF membership is primarily located in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho but also has members from other states as well as Canada. The club's rescue service was established in 1987. It has been very successful in the rescue and placement of many mastiffs, thanks to the dedication of many volunteers. The strength of the club has been based on the hard work, dedication and generosity of its members throughout the years.
